This circular identifies and reviews various operational opportunities and techniques for minimizing fuel consumption and therefore emissions in civil aviation flight and ground operations. It should be noted that the circular is not intended to be the basis for regulatory action but examines some of the primary considerations associated with operational opportunities and the benefits and technical limitations that may be associated with them.
